So far, it has worked well in every capacity.Strengths - Good distribution of weight between hips and shoulders when loaded. - Solid construction, feels as though it will last through the years. - The two loops for storing trekking poles are awesome, not a feature on my other packs. - Very breathable where the frame rest against your back, no major sweat buildup. - Size and shape is ideal for active hiking and scrambling, so no need to leave gear behind during side trips. Weakness - The cord lock for the drawstring that closes the top is a pain by design. All in all, a great pack for middleweight excursions at a great price compared to major stores. Suspension works very well, especially as you load it more. I've carried anywhere from 5 to 30 pounds comfortably. Plenty of room inside the main compartment. The top lid is also very spacious. At the same time, its attachment is weird and it always seems to be falling off when he pack is not fully loaded. Would have preferred if the top lid's straps would come from the top of the pack and not from the sides. Have abused it for over 6 months and the fabric is still intact, as are all the plastic components. Excellent pack.
