This fits the bill very nicely. There are enough subcompartments so I can organize things and know where they are. There's a big main zipped compartment which also has a small inner zip mesh compartment, there's a smaller outer zip compartment, plus two outside mesh pouches. The main compartment also has a clip where you can attach keys.
