I needed something light, durable, and with the ability to hold both enough water and supplies for my 6 hour outdoor trek through rough terrain. What 1st attracted me was the weight - the product was indeed lighter than others I looked at. I also loved the respective pockets on each of the shoulder straps (sadly not pictured here) that enabled me to reach for a snack bar or my asthma spray or camera quickly if I needed it instead of having to stop to take off the pack to access these items from the other pocket to the front (yep - there are three pockets total). It's the most comfortable one I've ever used. Holds two liters which is more than enough for me to run a marathon with. Even full i can't really feel iton my back. No friction, no bouncing and you really do forget it's even on you once you settle into your run. I'm a 5'9, 170 lb muscular guy and this fits me wonderfully.
